First Things First- An Introduction

Well let’s see how this blogging thing works.  We have lots going on in our lives so I thought this would be a great way to keep everyone up to date.  First and introduction, the Spencers consist of Daniel, Christina, Adam, and a little one on the way.  Adam turned one on May 11, 2008 and on May 15th I found out I was pregnant.  So, yes, we’ll have two little ones under the age of two.  FUN!!!!  We’re excited for sure, and yes we are hoping for a little girl.  After all, we do need a girl to inherit my purse collection.  I’ll be due mid-January 2009.  So far no big symptoms at all.  I’m lucky, I know.  My pregnancy with Adam was great so hopefully this one will be just like that.  I had little heartburn, but Adam was born with tons of hair.  No morning sickness.  I am diabetic so that is a challenge, but it’s manageable. 

Adam is such a smart boy.  He rolled over at 11 weeks, crawled at 5 months, walked by 11 months….and life hasn’t been the same.  I’m so proud of him, but I sometimes wish he had stayed babyish longer.  When we were planning his party I was depressed.  Now I know it was pregnancy hormones!

I work in aviation, for FlightSafety to be exact.  We design and build flight simulators, but the main business is training pilots and mechanics on various types of aircraft.  I am in the Records department.  It’s very busy, but it is never dull that’s for sure.  Daniel works for Meisel and he is the Distribution Supervisor.  He’s always busy as he oversees the department that makes sure companies recieve all their required items for business.   He’s always super busy, but doesn’t complain a bit when he comes home and helps me out with Adam and laundry and dinner. Daniel is a huge Dallas Cowboys fan, in fact he’s a huge sports fan period, but the Cowboys are his life during the season.  Me, I like to read anything I can get my hands on and sometimes I can slip off to bed a little early to do so.

Well, I will try to keep this updated regularly.  I will attempt to post pictures soon, but as I am new to this it may take awhile.  But, I’m sure throughout these next few months there will be much to write about.
