I am nesting like a bird.  OMG!  I just want to get things done.  Checked on cables for the camera.  Happened to try our “broken” one, and it’s working…..Hmmmm.  I will now have to add uploading pictures to my list.  Called to make dr. appt.  I will clean the vanity and bathroom, clean out my nightstand, wash dishes, and get the living room back to it’s normal state.  The Christmas decorations are gone and now I can get everything settled back.

Yesterday was fun!  We went to lunch with Daniel’s aunt and cousins.  We had fun conversations and it was great to hang out with everyone again.  We haven’t all gotten together like that in months.  We all went to Northpark Mall to see the train exhibit.  It was awesome.  They get every last detail!  It’s set up to look like different cities throughout the U.S.  There’s San Francisco, Washington, New York, Dallas, even one for the Wild West, and a bustling city complete with working bulldozers.  There’s Mt. Rushmore and an Indian scene with teepees.  The trains were everywhere and there was even a train with a train.  As soon as the pictures get uploaded I’ll add some.  Afterwards, Daniel and I walked around the mall.  That started out great, but slowly turned in to a painful experience for me.  I just knew I was going to go into labor at the mall.  It’s amazing how an obviously pregnant woman can be walking toward one side of the stairs to hold the rail and people don’t move.  Or as your are approaching the escalator trying to make sure your son gets on safely and the person behind you is now standing beside you impatiently.  I’ve gotten to where I literally give them “the look” and step aside saying “Excuse me being 9 months pregnant, you go right ahead”.  Not that they care, but it makes me feel better.  Mostly the women look at me, look at my belly, and give a look as if to say “it’s ok, you’re almost there”.

Daniel has been nesting too it seems.  As soon as we got home last night he was opening up the bassinet (which has been packed away since Adam was two months old), he got the stroller all put together, and finished up some more baby laundry.  It hit me that this weekend is the last weekend without two kids.  Whoa!  No more time for worry.  The time is almost upon us!

It’s so amazing how the time goes.  When you first see that positive pregnancy test and it scares the heck out of you at first, then your mind wraps around the amazement of it, then your just plain excited and want to tell everyone.  Note:  all these emotions are within 10 minutes of testing!  Those first few months you want to show your belly, the belly that’s not quite evident yet, but you try to maximize any smidgen of a bump just so people notice.  When you feel even the slightest movement you stop what you’re doing and concentrate, only to be disappointed to not feel the baby again for days.  Then they move so much it’s just plain funny, then it just sometimes hurts!  But, it’s all so amazing, and it goes by so slowly and yet so quickly too!  It truly is a miracle and it’s wonderous that God gives women the courage and ability to bear children.  There were years when we thought it wouldn’t happen for us.  Then, when God said the time was right, along came Adam  We weren’t expecting it, we weren’t prepared, but God knew we were to be Adam’s parents.  I only pray that I’ve met His expectations!
